3 Things To Do in Your Moving CRM Before the Winter Season Begins

Don’t slam on the breaks just yet!

The busiest moving season is winding down, but that doesn’t mean it’s time to kick off your shoes, put your feet up and relax for the winter.

Moving companies around the U.S. are preparing to enter the slow season of the year. This provides moving company owners with a fantastic opportunity to revisit what’s working - and what’s not.

Here are five areas of your Moveboard that deserve some attention and potential revamping.

  1. Reports

The very first thing you should do is head into your Requests tab and gather some data. Here, you can make a report by editing the filters above, then export it into a CSV file.

If you want to see how your business is doing in comparison to last year, adjust the dates and see what’s changed. You can set filters to look at specific service types, too. Take a look at your sales, and identify the areas of your business that could use some improvement.

  1. Email/SMS Templates

Be honest, it’s probably been a while since you’ve taken a look at your email and SMS templates… But these areas shouldn’t be deprived of your attention - they are the main way your Moveboard communicates with customers.

Go into your Settings and Email Template Builder to update your emails. Chances are you can improve and personalize this content to better connect with your clients. Update your company photos and make sure you’re sending out emails that best reflect your business.

After that, mosey on over to your SMS Template Builder (also under Settings) and make sure you’re utilizing all that this feature has to offer. We suggest going through the client automations and editing templates (or adding more automations) to maintain consistent communication with your customers.

Remember: Make the text here short and sweet - you don’t want to send long texts that your clients will be tempted to overlook. Be direct, concise, and include necessary details only. It’s also great to include a link to the customer account page!

  1. Customer Account Page

The final customer-facing area of the Moveboard that should receive a bit of TLC is the customer account page.

Your Moveboard software allows you to customize this page in so many ways. Don’t hesitate to revamp it by adding company photos, testimonials, and other personalized information to get your clients to choose you over the competition.

You know what they say, there’s no time like the present.

Use the steady fall and winter months to keep up with the times and set yourself up for success.

As always, reach out to Elromco’s customer support team for any questions.
